Hi, my name is Leslie Barbier. I am currently 21 and studying for a Publications Relations degree at, the amazing, Texas State University. I grew up in Keller, Texas, just north of Fort Worth, and graduated from THE Keller high in 2011, go Indians! I love the company of people and have always enjoyed meeting new people. I also love to travel and experience new cultures.
Music has always been one of my favorite things in life, and going to festivals and shows can really bring every type of person together no matter the differences. Not many things in this world can. Food is another love of mine and is another way of bringing people together. Having a food loving father from France really showed me how priceless it is to have a good meal with people you love.
I started working in the food industry when I was 15 at a local ice cream parlor. Then found my way to becoming a waitress or Twin Peaks Girl at Twin Peaks. I was already used to working in this type of environment from previous restaurants with a similar theme. Twin Peaks has undoubtedly been the best job I have so far. As a student the flexible hours works perfect with my school schedule. I can also get away with working part time during the semester so I have more time for my studies.
Over the past 3 years I have moved from waitress to corporate trainer to bartender. As a corporate trainer I traveled to Independence, Missouri to help open a new franchise store. After I graduate I am interested in helping develop the public relations department for Twin Peaks, but am currently keeping my options open. Twin Peaks may not be my forever home but it is a home I will remember forever.
